Kitchen/Living Design.
Package Chosen: Styling & Minor Renovation
Brief:
The client’s brief for their kitchen was to update the room by replacing the cabinetry doors and splashback before restyling the open plan living and dining area.
The client had a strict budget with very specific design ideas. They wanted to use black hardware and ensure a long lasting design. It was important to the client to keep the solid stone benchtops intact.
The client’s preferred style was rustic and contemporary with a colour scheme of white, black and timber.
Final Concept:
The final concept involved minor renovations, including replacing all the cabinetry doors and splashback.
To help stay within budget, I used as many existing accessories as possible and spent time focusing on obtaining competitive quotes for the renovation works. My trade team were able to match the quotes ensuring that I had the best price possible using reliable experts.
I was able to replace the top cabinets whilst keeping within budget to incorporate the gorgeous vertically-fluted decorative design. By doing this, I added a sense of texture and interest to the space which perfectly matched the splashback tiles chosen.
The final concept achieves the preferred style and colour scheme and uses quality materials to last for years to come. All with minimal spend!
